3:13pm: SLIPKNOT!!
YAY! I went to the slipknot concert yesterday,my first big concert! Devil Driver was up first and they were rowdy, fun and very loud. Then All That Remains and wow their lead singer was every where and so intense. I thought ATR was ok before but now I really like them, they are awesome live. And finally Slipknot. It was the best. They had these drums setup on both sides of the stage and the ones furthest from me would go up into the air with one of slipknot on it just swinging his hair and riling the crowd. And two of the members slipped away to set up something in the back of the crowd and they ran right by me! and when they came back they pushed past me which was creepy cool cause it was slipknot and an up close view of the masks. Then after one of the songs ended the lights dimmed to nothing and finally one spotlight came back up__ in the back! And Cory was saying 'so this is what it's like being down here' and then the rest of the lights came on and he sang a song! Then he went back onstage. And at the end he was like you guys know what to do and tell anyone who doesn't and everyone crouched down, hell I crouched down and I didn't know what was going on but i still did it. We were crouched for what seemed forever to my thighs and then finally we all jumped up! IT WAS AWESOME, HORNS IN THE AIR JUMPING SCREAMING. I was jumping up and down too, I actually broke the clasp on a necklace I wear all the time. At the merchandise I wanted the hoodie but it was $65 and the cheapest shirt was $25 and i was like no way so I got the Slipknot bottle opener, lol. Hey it's slipknot and useful and then on the way to the car was this guy selling slipknot shirts for $10 and so I got a slipknot shirt after all. I'm definitely going to see slipknot again they put on a show that is more than worth the ticket cost.

10:22am: hair cut
So yesterday I went and got my hair cut. I went from hair nearly to my butt to only shoulder length which I like. Though it is taking some getting used to, like this morning in the shower I used way to much shampoo and conditioner but once I get used to it I'll be buying hair products less often. Everyone I've met since my hair cut has liked it even the grocery store clerk who I've never met told me that she liked my hair cut which made me wonder does fresh cut hair give off a 'just cut' vibe so it'll get compliments? If so hair is really vain. But I am excited as I'll get to use things in my hair again cuz as my hair got longer I did less with it just pony tails, braides and putting it up with claws. Now I'll use clips, barrettes and baby claws and I bought a straightener so I'll do some experimenting with that!

12:40pm: sites and why
I've been looking at all the sites I have accounts for and I went wow that's a lot. Let's see I joined Livejournal because a fav. author on ff.net had an account there, next was myspace cause my siblings were there, then insanejournal cause communities and authors migrated from livejournal, next was Y!Gallery cause an author at aff.net said no more posting there, and now facebook cause my friends at work asked me to. And those aren't including archives. Frankly I wonder how I get anything else done and then I remember, I don't have internet at home----- for now3.

2:03pm: Yay! The other day I made my 1st userpic! Isn't he a cutie. Just to tell I made it by accident, I was trying to upload some pics and next thing I know I'm being asked to define the area I want for said userpic. But at least I know how now!LOL!

2:53pm: rl stuff update
Lets see my brother has congestive heart failure and is moving back to Omaha, to be closer to mom and in a city with hospitals, at the end of this month.Father's Day is coming up and i already got something for my stepdad but nothing for my real dad. After two years of mandatory overtime at work this month has been only voluntary overtime! My aunt is pissing me off as she keeps asking to borrow money which i understand why she needs it but i don't have as much as she needs so I wish she'd just leave me alone already (she's here at the library with me and has been since 2 o'clock) I went on Shopping spree last month and actually own shorts now, I'm kinda leery of actually wearing them but if I do my legs might get a tan or less pale and the jokes about my signaling airplanes & outerspace every time I go swimming will stop. I finished the new book by Michelle West and really want to read the next one but I have to wait for her to write it but as consolation I have Snarry Games to read and haven't even started as I've been on a Naruto fic craze which seems to be dying down since I can now do other things on my laptop besides going straight for the fic.My nephew Donavan is trying to crawl, he gets up on his hands and knees and kinda sways before his legs go out from under him and his face hits carpet or bedding. Sheila still can't get his hair to lay down but I tell her it' because Donavan is born to be a punker (aunt terry just left 3:12) but she doesn't agree.o

4:17pm: frigde
I'm soooo pissed. I've been telling my landlord since last fall that there was something wrong w/ my fridge. But it wasn't til this month that he agreed to send out a repair man and it took me 2 weeks after the repair man was supposed to have been there to get a hold of him only to be told that the repair man couldn't get in my apartment - all he had to do was give my door a shove to get it open but apparently he gave up after one try. So I went away for memorial weekend only to come back to curdled milk in a fridge with a temp. in the 60s. I had to throw out everything, my unopened bottly of tiramisu creamer chocolate lovers cheesecake, mayo, lettuce, honey ham, 3 packages of cream chees, etc. but luckily my freezer still worked. Call landlord >repairman come today> I come home to half my freezer food sitting on my counter. 1 CONTAINER OF VANILLA BEAN ICE CREAM MELTED, 1 OF ORANGE SHERBET, RED BARON PIZZA, TOASTER STRUDELS, PUFF PASTRY SHELLS, AND 2 PACKAGES OF APPLE BRATWURSTS. and i'm still trying to determine if my salsa, jelly, eggs, butter and other condiments need to be tossed. I'm running out of food and I have nowhere to put it if I bought it. I miss coffee in the mornings and something cold to drink at night but especially my coffee.
p.s. brought home leftover potato salad from mom and had to put it in freezer. I do not recommend doing that again.

5:30pm: this past week
Its been hectic this week as my mom told me that when she comes up at the end of the month she'll stay with me instead of my aunt. And that means I had to buy a bed which is sitting in my living room as i have clear out the guest/storage room and next on my to do list is cleaning the rest of my apartment.
This past weekend was the worst as we all received a huge scare. My brother went into the hospital on sat. as he was having trouble breathing and they took x-rays. The doctor then told my Grandma that Robert had only a little time to live as he had an enlarged heart, the sz. of a soccer ball he said.So we're all freaking over this and mom, Luke, Sheila and dad all head down to Kansas on Sun. the same day Robert was transferred to a Wichita hospital to see the cardiac specialist. They took a sonogram of his heart and say oh he doesn't have an enlarged heart just a bunch of fluid around it. Which is a big relief except now it's how did all that fluid get there as he's on dialysis and that's supposed to remove all the liquid? Anyway he went into surgery Sun. evening and they removed A GALLON AND A HALF of liquid! but he's recovering nicely which we're grateful for.

5:22pm: ihate my job rant
I hate my job, shocking I know. And the sad part about it is that the work is easy the people are nice and the management are assholes which is normal i expect but its been getting worse these last two months and I 've started looking for another job. Looking for that job is hard at the end of a 10 hr work day though I think of it as a 12 hr. day as I leave for work at 4 and get home at 4. I'm sick of being compared to 2nd shift and weekends when they don't put out the quantity that we do and only do a small portion of the things we do cause I would love if one of the other shifts had to pull surgis instead of just us or run both the blue line AND white AND GET OUT 7 TO 10 SETS EVERY HOUR INSTEAD OF A MEASLY 4 TO 5!! But I could deal with that if it wasn't for the fact that this june is the 2 yr. anniversary for mandatoy overtime -50 hrs. mon thru fri. I'm so fucking tired, I want out of production and maybe something in data entry.
